Sphatika, the Sphinx Moth
By: Marcia Beckford
I admit to feeling snagged the past few days.
‘Twas a loop of videos I found myself watching.
Newborns, the subject of the distraction.
When will this happen to Goddess I beseeched
Then lo and behold today
A newborn moth, adult insect
uncocooned on solar eclipse day
Is this God’s entertainment?
What a feeling of sheer delight!
